Vintage Cars and Motorcycles 2023: When at Bologna Fiere
Bologna, a city already celebrated for its gastronomy and cultural heritage, is about to become the beating heart of classic motoring and motorcycling. From 26 to 29 October, Bologna Fiere will host for the first time 'Auto e Moto d'Epoca', an event that has established itself as the reference point for classic vehicle enthusiasts in Europe. This year marks the fortieth edition of this automotive celebration.
A Record Market
'Auto e Moto d'Epoca' is known as the "largest market for classic cars and spare parts in Europe", and for good reason. This event is a paradise for collectors and motor enthusiasts, who will have the opportunity to choose from over 5,000 cars from the major car manufacturers and a wide range of original spare parts. With over 5,000 exhibitors from more than 40 countries, the event offers an unparalleled experience for lovers of classic cars and motorcycles.
A Monumental Expansion
The first edition of 'Auto e Moto d'Epoca' in Bologna has many new features, including its impressive size. Visitors will be welcomed in a space of over 235,000 square meters, more than double that of past editions. These spaces are distributed across 11 pavilions and four access gates, in addition to more than 14,500 covered parking spaces for visitors and exhibitors.
Another notable novelty is the pavilion dedicated entirely to motorcycles, with a space of 15,000 square meters to satisfy two-wheel enthusiasts. Among the motorcycles on display, a creation of the award-winning Lucio Cecchinello Racing Team and the historic 750 Honda K0 stand out. It will also be possible to admire a selection of motorcycles from the Battilani Collection of Imola, one of the most prestigious in Italy, which boasts over 300 examples, in particular Italian ones from the origins to the 1940s.

Mario Carlo Baccaglini, CEO of Intermeeting and the organizing secretariat of the event, said: "This is a very important year for Auto e Moto d'Epoca... It will be a great celebration for everyone". This edition represents a special anniversary, the 40th, and offers new opportunities for vintage vehicle enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the past and discover the present and future of motoring and motorcycling.
The Future of 'Vintage Cars and Motorcycles' in Bologna
Gianpiero Calzolari, President of BolognaFiere, said he was proud to have included this prestigious event in the exhibition portfolio of BolognaFiere and announced that this will be a fixed stop on the calendar. Governor Stefano Bonaccini shared this vision, underlining the importance of consolidating Bologna as the capital of the Motor Valley.
In addition, this year's edition will feature the world's most important museum collections, offering visitors the opportunity to admire some of the most iconic cars in automotive history.
